Chinese Crested Dogs are happy little dogs. Where they came form exactly isn't known for sure, although most think they came from Africa and then to China aboard ships as bed warmers and rat dogs. Who knows, one thing is for sure they are warm loving and very interesting little dogs.
Chinese cresteds come in two types both with the same loving personality, but look very different.
HAIRLESS :- This type have no or little body hair except for their feet, tail and top of their head and ears.
POWDER PUFF :- These type have beautiful and luxurious long hair that is silky soft to touch. They have their face clipped down for showing so that their lovely fine faces can be clearly seen. In some countries puffs are shown with their ears erect and in some their ears are dropped.
Blossom
I live in Melbourne Australia , and this is my first dog. She is a lovely black and white puff and l love her immensly. I got her when she was 8 weeks and now she is 14 mnths old.
She is a very solid little dog with a mind of her own. She finds admirers wherever she goes. Her coat is just wonderful.
This Blossom at 14 mths, sorry about the photo not being really good. Her coat almost touches the floor.
